Dr. Alphonce Ignace Marealle is a Lecturer and Head of the Department of Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmacology, School of Pharmacy, Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences (MUHAS), Tanzania. He holds a PhD in Pharmacology, an MSc in Clinical Pharmacology, and a Bachelor of Pharmacy. He is a registered pharmacist in Tanzania and a member of the Pharmaceutical Society of Tanzania.
His academic and research interests encompass pharmacology, clinical pharmacy, pharmacovigilance, antimicrobial use and resistance, natural products, antimycobacterial research, supply chain, and bioavailability/bioequivalence. He has published more than 60 peer-reviewed scientific papers with extensive experience in multidisciplinary and collaborative research.
Dr. Marealle is currently a GSK Africa Open Lab Cohort 2 awardee and Co-Principal Investigator of the SENSELET Tanzania project.
