Internationalization and Convocation unit
The Internationalization and Convocation Unit at Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences (MUHAS) is responsible to coordinate all foreign and visiting scholars’ affairs, manage collaborative links as well as coordinating the University Convocation activities
Our Roles
- To coordinate scholars’ exchange and related institutional students’ link programmes;
- To initiate and facilitate development of joint activities between the University and collaborating institutions;
- To promote University exchange programme activities;
- To facilitate elective studies, course and short-term training in the department, school, institute or directorate;
- To provide social support and promote the conduct of cultural exposure during elective period of the visiting scholars;
- To establish and handle correspondences of mutually beneficial relationship between the University and her alumni so as to promote the welfare of the University;
- To coordinate activities of the University Convocation for furtherance of the objectives and functions of the University;
- To foster a strong relationship between the University and the entire Tanzanian society and to maintain a dialogue with the Government on Tanzania’s social, economic and other problems for purposes of promoting development in the country.
