Planning, Development and Investment Directorate
The Directorate is responsible to promote the development and monitoring of the University planning activities, improving Institutional Investment portfolio, resource mobilization as well as securing the available and new University properties
Our Roles
- To coordinate the University planning process;
- To develop Institutional Corporate and Five Year Rolling strategic plan;
- To guide Schools/Directorates to develop their strategic plan;
- To provide technical expertise on strategic planning to the Unit;
- To monitor implementation of Strategic plan;
- To coordinate production of annual and triennium report;
- To identify activities for income generation internally and externally; (viii) To coordinate units for institutional income generation activities
- To guide Units to develop unit specific income generation ideas-
- To develop guidelines/policies and procedures for institutional income generation and cost containment;
- To monitor and evaluate implementation of income generation activities; establish implement rigorous system for revenue collection for the University facilities;
- To participate in the University Budgeting and Resource allocation; and
- To generate ideas for investment of the University properties.
