WIN AND LEARN MARKS 20 YEARS OF ADVANCING STUDENT RESEARCH AND INNOVATION

More than 450 students, researchers and delegates from health sciences universities across Tanzania and the region gathered at MUHAS on 18 July 2026 to celebrate the 20th Win and Learn Academic Event.

Held under the theme “Re-Imagining the Future of Healthcare: Youth-Led Innovation, Digital Transformation and Sustainable Solutions for a Resilient Health System,” the event showcased student research and innovation while reaffirming MUHAS’ commitment to developing future healthcare leaders.

The Guest of Honor Ms. Marsha Macatta-Yambi and keynote speaker Prof. Bruno Sunguya all emphasized the importance of youth-led innovation, collaboration and translating research into practical solutions that strengthen healthcare systems.
