The MUHAS School of Nursing joined nurses from various health and training institutions in celebrating International Nurses Day on 6 May 2026 at Kigamboni District Hospital in Dar es Salaam.

The School showcased its academic programmes and provided public health education during the event. Dean Prof. Edith Tarimo presented the School’s programmes to the Guest of Honour, while MUHAS experts also offered guidance on the prevention and management of heart disease.
