On January 29, 2025, MUHAS received a generous donation for calibration of medical equipment from Dan Chuster and Ms. Charmika Schuster, facilitated by BETA Organization (USA). The donation, provided by the DAK Foundation, is set to enhance the University’s Biomedical Engineering (BME) training and research capabilities.
The donated equipment includes: one SPO2 MS100 Simulator, two Oxygen Analyzers, one NIBP Simulator, one ECG MS400 Simulator and one ECG Machine. In addition to the donation, Dan Chuster and Ms. Charmika conducted a hands-on demonstration of the ECG MS400 Simulator with the ECG Machine, offering MUHAS students’ invaluable practical exposure to these vital medical calibration tools.
This donation enhances knowledge, practical skills, and technological advancement in biomedical engineering education at MUHAS, ensuring that the students are well- equipped for the evolving demands of healthcare technology.
