MUHAS, through its School of Dentistry, hosted delegates from the Tanzania Dental Association (TDA) and the World Dental Federation on 29 May 2026 to strengthen collaboration in dental education, research, and professional development.

World Dental Federation President Prof. Nikolai Sharkov commended the School of Dentistry as a Centre of Excellence in Oral Health Sciences in East Africa and praised MUHAS and TDA for advancing oral healthcare and dental training in Tanzania.
