On 12 May 2026, MUHAS Vice Chancellor Prof. Appolinary Kamuhabwa met with a delegation from Rapid Bio LLC and LifeDX Africa Ltd. to discuss a strategic partnership under a proposed MoU.

The collaboration aims to advance education and training in diagnostic technologies, research and development, capacity building for local manufacturing, establishment of a joint scientific laboratory, and clinical validation of diagnostic products.
