On 28 May 2026, the Higher Education for Economic Transformation Project Implementation Unit (HEET PIU) at MUHAS held its 18th monthly meeting to review progress on the construction of the College of Medicine at the Mloganzila Campus.

Led by Deputy Project Coordinator Prof. Nathanael Sirili, the team conducted a site inspection before the meeting. Construction progress stood at 77% for Lot 1, 80.2% for Lot 2, and 48.9% for road works.
