The monthly site meeting for the construction of the Kigoma Campus under the Higher Education for Economic Transformation (HEET) Project was held on 20 May 2026 to review implementation progress of the ongoing works.

The meeting noted that overall construction progress has reached 76.90 percent against the planned progress of 77.18 percent. The contractor has also commenced the construction of internal roads that will connect various buildings within the campus.
