The Vision of the DCEPD is to be a national and regional Centre of excellence in the provision of quality and sustainable Continuing Education and Professional Development (CEPD) in health and related disciplines. The directorate envisages the realization of this vision through its mission which is to provide quality, demand-driven Continuing Professional Development (CPD) through facilitation, regulation, and promotion of CEPD for the health sector and beyond.
Our Roles
- The Directorate of Continuing Education and Professional Development (DCEPD) is a Unit of MUHAS responsible for the coordination, development, and delivery of Continuing Education (CE) programs. The unit also coordinates professional development activities.
- It provides learning opportunities for non-MUHAS healthcare professionals seeking continuing education through various short courses. It also invites the other training institution that wishes to rent the space or equipment for practical training and examination.
