MUHAS SUCCESSFULLY CONCLUDES BASIC QUALITATIVE RESEARCH SHORT COURSE TO STRENGTHEN RESEARCH CAPACITY

The Basic Qualitative Research Short Course has been successfully concluded, marking an important milestone in strengthening qualitative research capacity among researchers and professionals committed to advancing evidence generation and research excellence.
The training brought together participants from diverse professional backgrounds for an engaging and impactful learning experience aimed at enhancing knowledge and practical skills in qualitative research methodologies. Throughout the course, participants actively engaged in discussions, learning activities, and knowledge exchange, demonstrating a strong commitment to improving research practice and contributing to evidence-informed decision-making.
The course was officially closed by Prof. Bruno Sunguya, Deputy Vice Chancellor for Research and Consultancy at MUHAS, who commended participants for their dedication and emphasized the importance of strengthening qualitative research competencies in addressing health and societal challenges through high-quality evidence generation.
Special appreciation is extended to Prof. Edith Tarimo, Course Director, together with all facilitators whose expertise, commitment, and dedication contributed significantly to the successful implementation of the training and ensured a meaningful learning experience for
participants.
Gratitude is also extended to Directorate of Research, Publications and Innovation for the valuable coordination and support provided throughout the course implementation, which played an important role in the successful delivery of the program.
