The Directorate is responsible for coordinating postgraduate academic issues requiring senate approval from Schools and lower organs in the University
Our Roles
- To oversee the designing of new demand-driven postgraduate programmes
- To market Postgraduate programmes;
- To solicit sponsorship for postgraduate students;
- To process applications, admissions, registration and graduation of postgraduate students;
- To facilitate postgraduate research;
- To promote welfare of postgraduate students;
- To prepare postgraduate prospectus and guidelines;
- To process postgraduate examinations results and disposal(ix) To facilitate postgraduate curricula review;
- To determine fee structure for postgraduate programmes;
- To establish standards and quality assurance of postgraduate programmes; and
- To provide training and re-training of competent human resource for health to work as healthcare providers as well as managers and educators at healthcare facilities and higher education institutions.
