MUHAS RECEIVES TZS 63.5 MILLION REHABILITATION EQUIPMENT GRANT
On 28 July 2026, MUHAS through its Rehabilitation Unit, has received rehabilitation teaching and learning equipment worth TZS 63.5 million under the AFROREHAB2030 Project. The donation, co-funded by the European Union through the Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE) programme, includes ICT, audiovisual, and simulation support equipment to strengthen teaching, research, innovation, and clinical services.
The equipment was officially received on behalf of the University by Deputy Vice Chancellor – Academic, Prof. Emmanuel Balandya, who commended the project partners for their support and called on staff and students to make effective use of the resources and ensure their proper maintenance for long-term benefit.
