The East African Centre of Excellence for Cardiovascular Sciences (EA-CoECVS) Phase II Project held its 3rd Project Steering Committee meeting on 12 May 2026, chaired by Prof. Carolyne Nombo, Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology.

The meeting reviewed progress in cardiovascular skills development, research, curriculum enhancement, community outreach, and the construction of a modern Cardiac Teaching Hospital.
