MUHAS staff joined other workers on 1 May 2026 to commemorate International Workers’ Day (May Day) at Mnazi Mmoja Grounds in Dar es Salaam, celebrating workers’ contributions to national development.

Regional Commissioner Albert Chalamila urged discipline, accountability, and hard work as key drivers of sustainable development. The theme, “Decent work is a strong pillar for sustainable development in the implementation of the National Vision,” emphasized improved working conditions and productivity.
