On 12 May 2026, the MUHAS Gender Unit conducted a leadership and mentorship workshop for early-career staff and postgraduate students to strengthen leadership skills and professional development.

The facilitator, Prof. Pendo Malangwa from Dar es Salaam University College of Education (DUCE) highlighted the importance of self-driven leadership and actively seeking growth opportunities. The workshop featured panel discussions, experience sharing, and question-and-answer sessions.
