MUHAS has awarded the first batch of Phase II Research and Outreach Grants under the East Africa Centre of Excellence for Cardiovascular Sciences (EA-CoECVS) project.

During a ceremony held on 6 May 2026, Vice Chancellor Prof. Appolinary Kamuhabwa presented Letters of Offer to successful applicants. Out of 73 proposals received, 15 projects were selected through a rigorous evaluation process and awarded a total of TZS 2.4 billion.
