20 HEALTH PROFESSIONALS COMPLETE SPARK-FETP-NCD EPIDEMIOLOGY TRAINING

On 24 July 2026, MUHAS in collaboration with the Ministry of Health’s Epidemiology Unit, graduated 20 health professionals from mainland Tanzania and Zanzibar after completing a three-month SPARK-FETP-NCD Short Course in Epidemiology.

Funded by Africa CDC, the programme strengthened participants’ practical skills in disease surveillance, data analysis, research, and evidence-informed decision-making to support the prevention and control of non-communicable diseases across Tanzania.
