Digital health is rapidly transforming health systems and provision of health care services. Tanzania, like many other countries has developed and is implementing its Digital Health Strategy 2019-2024 which among other initiatives promotes research, innovation and development in digital health technologies to improve delivery of health services for better population health.

In efforts to foster digital health research and innovations in Tanzania, MUHAS through the Directorate of ICT and MUHAS Digital Health and Innovation Research Group (mDHIRG) is organizing a one-day symposium titled “Adoption of Appropriate Digital Technologies to Address Health System Challenges in Tanzania”.

The symposium is also part of digital health and innovation experience sharing sessions in support for developing a plan for establishing a Digital Health and Innovation Hub at MUHAS. The development of plans for establishing a MUHAS Digital Health and Innovation Hub is funded by Sida through the ICT/Library sub-programme.

You are invited to attend the symposium to exchange your experience and expertise on digital health and innovation initiatives.

This hybrid event will be held at the Main Conference Hall, CHPE Building at MUHAS in Dar es Salaam on 18th November 2021 from 8:30AM – 4:00PM EAT.
